Amenities

There are 2 heated toilets and an area on the island dedicated to Moorer’s, so they can relax off their boat and enjoy a drink, BBQ, or just a friendly chat with like‑minded boaters who are also moored at the island.

The centrepiece on the island is Eyot House, a Grade II-listed Victorian private property, currently being completely renovated.

This idyllic island is further enhanced with a rich history of music and hospitality dating back to 1890, when Gilbert & Sullivan regularly visited the island to play intimate concerts for their host, Richard D’Oyly Carte, and their guests, D'Oyly Carte Music.
