Lance Ellington, a vocalist for 16 years on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and currently sharing the stage with Anton du Beke on his UK tours, has performed all over the world. Born into a showbiz life - his father was the renowned singer Ray Ellington - Lance has truly been given the talent to entertain globally!
He has worked with many artists including Sting, George Michael, Gloria Gaynor, Steps, Michael Jackson and Robbie Williams and Lance regularly fills Ronnie Scott's and Zedel's.
In addition to the Grammy Award, Lance has also won several other awards for his music, including the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Jazz Album and the DownBeat Critics Poll for Best Jazz Vocalist.
The hugely talented Lance Ellington and his seven-piece band will close the 2026 D'Oyly Carte Island Summer Concerts singing everything from George Benson to a remix of Pharrell Williams.
Lance’s performance to a full house at the 2024 D’Oyly Carte Island Summer Concerts was sensational and we are delighted he has accepted our invitation to return.
